I'm new here...

I got my Open Water Diver certification in 2002 (open water dives in Midland-Penetanguishene) and have only done a few recreational/vacation dives down south since then.

My last dives were in 2005 but I've got a trip to Roatan in April where I plan to get my fins wet again. I thought it would be prudent to do a refresher course once I get there, and I found this forum while googling some questions I had.

Hello to all!

Welcome to the board.

If it's been that long since you dove then yeah a refresher is probably a good idea. Also the dive shop you go with will most likely force you anyhow to do one.

Enjoy you trip and dive safely.

hello and welcome......congrats on your decision to restart your diving.
