How do you get pool time?

Check with some LDSs in your area.

I've done pool gear-fiddling dives at three different nearby LDSs and nary a charge. Heck, two of them let me use their tanks for free, as I was testing out my tropical setup and needed to use AL80s.

I usually just call and ask. If it is gear I am purchasing through them, no cost. If I bought the gear some place else, I expect to pay a small fee.
