How much weight to add for a thicker wetsuit?

Been diving a 3mm Henderson Thermoprene suit with 10 lbs in the Caribbean. Moving to a 5mm Henderson Thermoprene suit for a Socorro trip and was wondering how much additional weight it consider adding? Advise greatly appreciated.

Are the 3mm or 5mm suits shorties or full jumpsuits?

I went from a 3mil full suit to a 5 mil full suit.....went from 10 to 14 pounds in salt water

@Pjhansmam- Outstanding. I also dive 10 lbs in a 3 mm full and was going to add 4 lbs for the 5mm. Thanks for the confirmation (or at least a starting point).

Try adding 4 pounds. The rule of thumb I use is 2 pounds per additional millimeter.
