How to chose your diving destination

ok guys... this definitely means i'll have to look for a wife who's diving then ;-)

That's how I took care of it. I met "jan the diver" on a trip to the GBR. She worked for the airlines then and had a t-shirt that read "Marry me and fly free!", so I did. She has been my buddy for going on 25 years. One of her many endearing talents is an ability (at least equal to my own) to rationalize that the next piece of gear, camera equipment and, or dive trip is vital and more important than anything else we might do with the money!

Am assuming the question is about dive trips, not local spots. For trips the only factor for me is whether shell collecting is allowed.
