I got the Dive Rite SMB holder recently for my OMS 6ft - fits fine - tight too - and attaches to my Transpac - I wish I had seen these posts before I did that - seems like I am going too far for something very simple - either way - the posts so far have been great.

I use the Dive Rite quickdraw sleeve for my 6 ft DAN smb. It's attached at the bottom of my back plate, between my butt and the tank bottom. Creates no drag (like attaching it somewhere to the side does), out of the way but highly accessible, no need to worry about elastics breaking/tangling. I don't keep a spool attached to it, but it is possible to do so and clip it off at the plate as well.
