Live in the D/FW metroplex and excited to be starting lessons Sept 12th! Hopefully a friend of mine will not change his mind and sign on with me to have a dive buddy; my wife "would" do this with me but is deathly afraid of the water. Me, I've been like a fish since my dad taught me to swim, float, etc when I was like 5 (many, many moons ago!). I've tried flying lessons, quit after 15 hours (expensive)- seems this is a safer sport to do and more adventurous. Looking forward to joing the ranks of OW certified divers and going on from there. :D
Also looking forward to learning a lot from my peers here on this board.

Best wishes on your upcomming lessons and your future in diving.

Be sure to come join us at CSSP or elsewhere as you can.

Who are you taking your lessons though?

Hi! Welcome to the board. I have both certs and trust me, things can go just as badly below the water as in the sky.
