Am I reading this wrong? NHC just put the island in the zone of hate with hurricane warnings for tomorrow night. Boy that went to bad in a hurry. I hope that it veers off.

Yep, always, but Tuesday looks like a good day to do nothing but prepare for the worst.

I remember the night before I escaped the island with Car-5 Dean expected to hit, encountering new arrivals in the lobby. "What hurricane?"

I hope this one veers off too, but being warned is better than not knowing.

It looks like they are going to get at least Tropical Storm force winds and most likely Hurricane force winds and some really rough seas! Stay safe!

Maybe they should hold off on rebuilding the damaged piers?

I doubt that those are on their hurricane preparation list.

It has been sliding west with each track update. Don't think there will be a lot of diving tomorrow. Boats will be getting pulled out of the water.
