I am looking for an optical strobe for my housing(Canon).

I can't find anything local(Minneapolis/St. Paul).

I am willing to rent from a private party....and pay of course.

I leave for Honduras on Saturday.

Ryan at ryan@reefphoto.com can get you your own by then. You might also ask about hiring one - I'm not sure what he has available.

B&H will be able to get you one before then, too, but you will be limited as they do not carry all brands of strobes.

Might not be a bad thing to think about if you don't get any joy on the rental thing soon or you'll run out of time. Not surprised you can't find anything in MSP - not a huge uw photo market. Even some of the areas in the country you'd think would have a good solid selection, don't.
