Even if the system's inventor was much more successful in convincing banks to implement his system, it likely won't work in real life.

Just try to think what your ATM PIN is backwards. Takes a bit of thought, doesn't it?

Now, imagine trying to think of that while some puke is holding a gun or knife to your head and is demanding you withdraw as much money as your bank and bank account will allow.

In law enforcement, there is a saying that when the fecal matter hits the air movement device, you will always revert to what you do routinely. That's why it's important that we train exactly the way we want to react, under as close to similar circumstances as possible. How many civilians are willing to do that?

Don't you just hate to be the one that posts a warning, tip or idea that within seconds some posts a snopes reference proving you wrong.
