How are you liking Casa Carlita so far?

OMG! It's just terrible!:shocked2:

Just kidding!! I fell asleep in the pool today and got sunburned!! LOL!! You know it's bad when it's so peaceful that you fall asleep on a floatie in the pool!! You'd almost never know you're in the city with the breeze blowing and the palm trees waving over the pool.

It really is quite a lovely place! It's quiet, comfortable, has a fully decked our kitchen - although reading the microwave in Spanish was interesting, and getting the stove lit took a bit of figuring out! I was a bit worried that the bed felt hard as a rock, but ended up sleeping like a baby. I think they've padded it way more than the usual Mexican hard bed. As for space - it's way more than 2 of us need. I just wish we had found someone to share it with! I knew the pool would be small, but it's so great that it's actually 5' deep so you can really get wet. And the outside shower and rinse tank for the dive gear have come in very handy already! I have the feeling we are going to be VERY sad when we have to leave next week!!

So, are you just wearing skins?? I'm ready to pack and waiting for your "expert" advice.!! It's pouring down rain and we've got tornado warnings here in Ohio. Would love a swimming pool with some sun and a floatie...I wouldn't even complain about a sunburn.

Oops!!! Meant to post something yesterday, then forgot. The DH & I are both just wearing swimsuits & rash guards. On the boat we have a couple of people in 3 mil fulls, a couple in shorties, and a couple guys in swim-trunks & t-shirts. My computer is reading 80-81, the DH is getting 82, and some are getting as high as 84. I've been very comfortable, but iit depends on how easily you get cold.

We're hearing about the tornadoes hitting everywhere up there!!! Be safe traveling!!!

Lots of tornado damage in northen Ohio. Five people killed, houses and property demolished. One entire home gone and nothing left but the foundation. So sad for those people. One mother "ripped" from her car and found miles away...same for a father who just put his wife and kids safely in their basement and he went back upstairs"for something". Lots of people left with nothing, but neighbors are already lending a helping hand.
