upon entrance i blew up my 21 watt hid, got my backup and continued the dive, 5 ft vis in the shallows but opened up to at least 40 ft in the canyon, freaking awesome. it was so clear my aa powered light provided more than enought light.spectacular dive with the best vis ive seen in months.

40 feet plus is pretty dang good vis! Divinman usually asks for a picture as evidence. One time I saw a 4 foot shrimp in the canyon, and to this day they don't believe me!!

We're doing a night dive Friday evening, 7pm, Vallecitos.. I hope you can make it!

Bummer. Is this one of the new Salvos? Any idea on what happened to it? So far with an 18-watt HID my only failure has been a loose bulb (easily correctable), but I'm trying to become informed so as to handle inevitable other problems ...
