Lighthouse beach resort in bonaire

Hello,
Has anyone stayed in these condos at lighthouse beach resort? How is the pool? Can you dive right there in front of the condos? If so, how is the diving ( which site). including entering the water? Thanks

It's Lighthouse Point. Scuba Shore Diving Site Page for: Lighthouse Point of Bonaire South, ABC Islands Haven't stayed there but we drove in there once by mistake about 10 years ago. Two sites south is the Hilma Hooker. http://www.shorediving.com/Earth/ABC/BonaireS/index.htm

One thing to be aware of is that some of the condos have no view to the water - blocked by buildings in front of them around the pool. This is one of the rental units: http://www.bonairevilla.com/files/IMG_56.jpg

You'll have to drive a little north for tanks unless your rental has an arrangement with someone. The other Buddy Dive facility is at BelMar condos about 1/2 mi.? north of there. Nice thing about their package is you can change tanks at the Buddy Drive thru when you're diving the sites north of town.

WannaDive also has a tank exchange to the north of Belmar at Windsock Beach resort or one of the Dive Friends locations is at Port Bonaire condos just west of the airport.

If you aren't firm on LBR take a look at BelMar also. Decent house reef, nice pool and all the patios/balconies face west for the view. http://www.belmar-bonaire.com/ Probably a little more expensive also.
