it mounts inside the housing top and plugs into the LANC... it is turned on and off by the red switch using the same knob that does the still pictures

Thanks a lot for the information and pictures. The external mirror is a geat idea but I've ruined too many shots moving the camera in the wrong direction and now don'r use it very much. If I can get the reversing circuitry that will make a lot of difference.

I'll get in touch with Ikelite and hope they can help me
