I've received a few of those regs with the knob limiter too. I don't know if the're supposed to be installed only for shipping/storage or left in during use. I've removed all of mine.

If that was a NOS regulator, perhaps the literature that came with it explains.

@rsingler might know.
Did yours have a plastic orifice this one appears to?

I don't remember. I still prefer metal; but I will say this, the plastic orifices are not as bad as I thought they were going to be. They may actually be made from Delrin which is pretty tough stuff and won't corrode.

Yep found the schematics it’s Delrin, the spacer is called “Ring Flow Ret” Powered it up first time in 25 years, no leaks, water tight, cracks 1.2 factory set... unbelievable.

On E-bay there's a German dive shop selling those, when I last checked a few yrs ago he was almost sold out, that does look like it's from his inventory, they were approx $ 400 each back then.

I know the one you’re talking about I tried to get that guy to send me an actual picture of the regulator and he wouldn’t do it plus his feedback rating wasn’t very good so I declined. Found this one and paid a lot less.

Its the satin version. Theres a black plastic disk between the knob and body. Not sure what it is for and if should be removed. It certainly limits how far you can screw the knob in. Any idea have you seen this before? It also has a mouthpiece removable clamp making me think this is from the late 90’s.

If yours is the satin version, what is the one I just received....?:)

I hope you don’t hate me forever. Lol

It took over a month to get here I was worried that it was lost. It came with the purge key in the box but it wasn’t installed. Will be interesting to see how it performs on the bench.

Other than length of time to arrive, were there any Customs issues?

I've got a hose and second at a friend's place in New York. I figured that I would pick it up next time I'm there but who knows when that will be.

Nice find I like the blue... my diaphragm is clear I can see right though it.
The cover is polished chrome, case is satin. Look at the step in the air barrel never seen that before. Haven’t taken it apart yet.

They did open it up, I can tell by the yellow tape that says Canada on it and they also made me pay $65 in customs and duty fees. I called Canada post several times to try to locate it and they told me I had to wait their way backed up. DHL I think is the way to go or FedEx.

Hello. I have to say, that is really, really beautiful. ( A work of art.) I have never owned any Scuba Pro gear other than Jet fins. Even so, I have great respect for the company's early beginnings, history, and quality gear. Again, this is based on "Other." divers, my friends ownership, and my being an equipment specialists in the mid 2000's
Congratulations..........
Cheers.
