I don't have any experience of Asian resorts or diving in Asia and need some advice where to even start looking. Trying to plan an extended 3 generation (grandparents and grandchildren as young as 5-10 y.o.) family vacation with mostly non-divers, and 3 divers. So this would be a week long family resort holiday, where a few of us go on a few SCUBA day trips on the side. There needs to be lots of things for the non-divers to do, so heavily dive focused resorts would be out. Looking for 4-5 star international resorts with nearby convenient diving. In the past other non-diving family members have enjoyed staying at the Ritz-Carlton and Hyatt in Nusa Dua, Bali. Would Nusa Dua be a good choice? Are there better locations or countries? Many of our group would be flying out of Hong Kong. Time frame is around the Dec/Jan holidays. Appreciate any advice.
