Hello,

I see that the scubapro computers run the standard Buhl 8 (or Buhl 16 on the Galileo trimix) algorithms. However, there is an additional feature for micro-bubble suppression that adds conservatism, deeper and more "level stops" based on some sort of microbubble prevention model.

Can you tell us what alogorithm or model is used for this micro-bubble feature in both the regular and the trimix programs? This might be useful in team diving for matching algorithms across different computers to achieve the most congruent plan possible. For example, is this algorithm VPM or some variant?

Thanks

The Galileo Sol uses the ZH-L8 ADT MB algorithm. Information on the MB, (Microbubble), and PDIS, (Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops), can be found in the Sol owner's manual. Please follow the link to the manuals page. The Trimix manual is also located here.
