Here's a couple of shots for you... Miflex LP hose purchased in 2009. The manufactures mark and date of 2008 clearly visible in the photo. This is from an 84" hose that had probably 350-400 dives on it. The 24" hose was fine with no issues. Same age and same number of dives... who knows? What is being seen here is caused by a process called "polymorphic crystallization" according to the research I've done.
