This is so sad . . . now the dive op quits due to this tragedy. So sorry for them, and for the support lost to Arizona divers.

    No, not sarcasm.

I didn't want to step on any toes, i am not a "cyber diver" but we have spent well over a hundred dives (for some of us it is closer to 200 dives) on the bottom behind the dam, want to know which buttress the crane platform is behind, or how may hand rails there are that lead into the control room? 10 days ago the viz was great down there +/- 20 ft, there are no "monstrous" trees, it's not "too deep too dangerous to send a diver" into. Conserning " Plus, I don't think you'd be able to find that amount of tech divers willing to risk it based on those conditions." I have 5 rebreather divers that routienly dive 3-4 hour run times that live in the valley and would be happy to help the family.

I did't post here to get into a pissing contest about who has the most cards or the deepest dive, I love to talk diving and would love to do so over a beer.

Honestly it wouldn't matter, the sheriff has NO interest in any help, you could have built the dam and they wouldn't even talk to you about helping.

And like you and Bill, I would like to see the family get some closure to this.

They might not want help but can they stop you from diving there? Serious question.
