vis and conditions on the Grace were excellent - we had lots of surge and only 40' vis above 40' but once you dropped below that there was very little current and vis opened up to 80'. Water temp was 70s at the surface and around 60 at 100'.

conditions at Anacapa and Santa Cruz were similar - sites were shallow so very surgy but temps were very warm! The kelp showed stress from the warm water but the fish life was still excellent.

Great videos. I've always thought of using Massive Attack in a soundtrack to my videos too. They have an instrumental that even has breathing noises in it. Perfect. By the way, how do you get the reds in the video (diver's camera, strawberry anemones, etc..)? Is it a white balance thing or lights? What camera do you have and are you using an add-on wide angle lens?

thanks!
reds... I don't have any lights, but I do have a red filter for the housing which makes all the difference in the world! It works well as long as you aren't too deep since it cuts out alot of light also. So the reds on the Grace video were all from depths 30-70' max.

Great videos....man I would love to go diving over there. The video with the oil platform, where those seals swimming around?
