Thank you MontereyCADiver and alcina (ps how's married life??). alcina there's a little story that goes with the fringehead series. He was one of the biggest ones I've ever seen, he pretty much filled up that 2" diameter PVC pipe. He came out for me and allowed a few conventional head shots. Then I got a wild-hair idea and very gently put a small piece of bottom rubble just inside the lower edge of the pipe. He very gently picked it up and spit it out. I picked it up again and put it back in the pipe. Once again he picked it up and spit it out. We did this together several times. It was like playing "fetch" with my English bulldog Sarah. In fact, in an odd fish-like way, the fringehead kinda looks like Sarah :). Don't tell her I said that.
