Knock wood our Covid delayed first Indo trip is next April. Due to the resort dates, have to fly through Jakarta unless Scoot expands its schedule (oddly though, to get to Jakarta we still go thru Singapore). Leaving the resort on a Saturday and was going to fly MDC to Jakarta that day, but found a great fare leaving Jakarta Sunday night. I am assuming that Jakarta for 24+ hours isn't ideal?

So I am looking for a one night adventure in or around MDC and then start the trek home Sunday. We'll have had a week at NAD and a week at Gangga Island. Since we're there, would like to try to see something different than an airport hotel. Tangkoko overnite? Something along the coast? Bunaken (if even possible)? We like tings like treehouses and beach huts :) Thanks for any ideas
