Greetings,

I'm looking for a buddy, or two, to dive Lake Natoma in Folsom either Saturday, June 26; Sunday, June 27; or Tuesday, June 29. I'll have to stay flexible on the dates, but if you get in touch we can work out the schedule.

I'm an experienced salt diver, with only one dive at Lake Natoma, but I want to do some serious poking around under the Rainbow Bridge. My wife will be out of town and made me promise I wouldn't solo while she's gone. So I'm willing to share the fun.

Be in touch.

Ron,

I dove off Negro Bar at Natomas with my daughter last Sunday around 3:00pm.

When we arrived I noticed the water level was low, vis was good.
By the time we got our gear on and into the water, they started a release out of Folsom. We went in at the ramp and started towards the bridges. Strongest current I have ever seen at this place. I had to hold on to a rock every now and then to go forward. It also reduced the visability.

This was too much for both of us, so we headed back after 9 minutes.

Water temp was 64 F, very nice. Lots of crawdads.

I decided next time we would go in at the ramp and do an easy drift dive the other direction to the beach area.
