I removed the comfoswivel as I want to put on a 48" hose. The inlet male threading to the ST1 is much longer than a standard inlet....how do I attach 48" hose to it? Do I just thread it on and the rest of the threading towards the second stage remains exposed?? Or do I put a hose protector on it?

If you want to switch from the comfort swivel hose to something more standard, you need a jam nut. I use M1 jam nuts on all of mine, but I believe they also have a smaller jam nut that is used on the Z2’s.

Never mind I just bought the kit instead. Thanks so much. That was super helpful

Remember the o-ring comes off and stays with the swivel hose if you install the jam nut...
