Hello,

i went to do a try dive for the first time yesterday. I have asthma but the diving instructor i should be fine as we were doing a shallow shore dive. Well i went down to 12 m. And felt fine and after 25 mins i said i was content and wanted to go back up. He guided me and everything throughout the dive so i doubt i ascended too quickly.

No symptoms immediately after at all. maybe 10-12 hours later i started burping a lot, with immediate relief however instantly after needing to burp more but not always burping the air out. I slept on it, now its been 24 hours im still burpy.
Is this normal? Is it worth seeking medical attention? Or am i just anxious ?

I am in jordan and back in amman where i am 4 hours from the coast i dont think any doctors here wouldnt understand anything about diving.
Thank you for your help.

Sounds like you may have swallowed some air.
