Hi,

Ok i started my SB account in early 2008 i think,
it didnt get much attention until the last month...

so now i have been playing around exploring more and more
great job by the way!!!

i did come across a post by "JimBisesi" about divers who own aquariums...
i was thinking maybe a section open to discussion about aquariums could be on the cards?

sub categories - fresh water n salt water tanks, photos, advice for starting an aquarium etc

i am a member of +5 fish forums and can never remember my
user name let alone my password, and this way people like my self will have 2 forums in the one place...

just an idea

thanks team!!!

So you want a new forum?

You need to think about the following:
Is the subject suitable for ScubaBoard?
Is it necessary, isn't this subject already covered by another forum?
Is it to be a private forum? If so, for which group? Any specific access restrictions (ie read-only etc.)?
Got that covered?

Good, next thing you need to do is to start a thread in Suggestions (part of Site Support).

Also, you'll need at least a dozen members who'll back your proposal.

Finally, the ScubaBoard Staff will consider your proposal and create the forum if approved.

Please note that any forum may also be removed due to inactivity.

Any questions? Send us a message!

I agree that this would be a good idea, I too am a member of countless aquarium forums and its a hassle to visit so many of them each day.

Sounds interesting, and certainly in the spirit of marine life/exploration. If the forum's a flop, it can always be deleted.

It's not something i'm particularly into but I think it's a good idea. I'm definitely interested already
