I understand the purpose of this.... but Yeow! it sure makes the screen a lot "busier".

I think it'll help a lot with some, a few at least.

Since I am editing a mistake anyway, I'll agree with Bleeb below.

I like "Thread created by" or "Started by" better.

We won't know unless we try.

One possible suggestion: Change "Posted by" to "Thread create by". It might not be obvious to all the newcomers to SB that seem to be reviving all these old threads what "Posted by" refers to, especially if they're new to forums in general.

I'm putting this idea out there for others to judge, since I don't have any feel how helpful it might really be.
