(you got it)

Hey everybody, just joined up so that I can pretend to be underwater even in my non mermaid time and wanted to say hello.

Addicted to the ocean (I have worked a lot in marine conservation, my favorite being working with turtles), and actually work in a zoo (because it's kinda hard to get too close to penguins and seals when you don't!), am addicted to wreck dives, to tec dives, and to...damn nothing else rhymes with wreck dives. Am DM, but thinking of doing the IDC, and if you see me underwater you'll know it, because I'm a little crazy under there.

Recently started collecting vintage gear just for the fun of it, and think either whales or turtles are my spirit animals. Can you have both?

And pictures, because who can be bothered with words? (I hope I did the pictures right, any forum I've been on before allows you to upload from the computer, not an image hosting site, so I had to join one and now I'm confused and I swear Ariel never dealt with these issues...)

Hahahah thanks!
I do love my job, every now and then I get to escape and head off to work conservation efforts, and when I'm back I get to spend my time with all my aquatic friends (whose breath is a little like what I imagine the mines of moria to smell like). It's hard to complain!

Welcome aboard.. extra points for sneaking in a LOTR reference. :)

Would you try these on for us?

Welcome! Your photos are fun, and I hope you post more conservation experiences and photos. I notice that you have posted a variety of exposure protection, (or lack thereof!) and wonder about all the different types/areas of diving you do. Specifically : Do you see Leafy Sea Dragons?
