It is exactly what we did at the LDS to fit my mask. But even that article does not speak to any specific fit requirements for the nose. Maybe it's a non-issue for 99% of the people out there. Although I wouldn't consider my nose large, I suppose it isn't small either. It might just be that I live with the issue, which isn't absolutely terrible since I can clear it if I pull it down while blowing.
I'll be taking the mask back tomorrow night to see what the shop can do.
