Any dives that are free of entry fees, like beaches are cool. I haven't done any beach entry dives. Our diving schdule will be Oct 4,5 then after that, Saturdays are best. Once we get Holly's Cert, ANY dives we can afford will be awesome! Dives in Tampa or Clearwater would be cool. At this point, we have to rent ADS' and tanks but pretty much have everything else.

Manatee recipes inbound... The don't taste like regular cow, sort of salty,... kind of like... here it comes... A SEACOW!!! As Ken dodges the tomatoes thrown from the group!

Wendy,

You have lots of ideas. They all sound great. You pick a location and open it up. If we can join you, we will, if not, there's always next time. These are fun trips.

Raven,

Yes, lobster season is open and will be open through March 31 (inclusive).

Jose,

How was Roatan? Will we see you & Miriela Monday night?

We have a local dive shop with lobster setups. Bully net, poker, gloves, and a gauge for 15 bucks or so. I've also never been bug hunting. Sounds really cool!
(never bug hunting, except large Florida roaches with a shotgun)
D'em suckers git big in da' swamp!

We found something at H2O for seasickness. It's called MotionEaze. It's just natural oils and you rub a drop on the skin behind the ear. My wife had a bad problem with carsickness when reading. We bought this stuf and she tried it while reading. Let's just say 60 mile road trip with NO sickness issues reading solid the whole way!
I'm curious to see how it works for boat trips.
The website has a little more info.

Are there places on these beaches where we can do BBQ's? Many beaches used to have restrictions on fires on the beach. If we could find a place near a park or where we could setup a canopy and grill, that would be mucho cool. ESPECIALLY if we could grill any bugs we had just caught.

Beach diving, Parking lots, dive areas, grassy area, BBQ grills, pavillion, dive shop a mile away (but I don't think it has nitrox).

Where is Dania Beach?

Dania Beach is just North of Hollywood, just south of Ft. Lauderdale.
