My Duo started blinking in Puerto Galera this weekend, and was useless for all the dives. Reading other threads in this forum and elsewhere made me think battery life. So, I bough a new one and replaced the battery, and it did not blink for about 5 minutes and started blinking again.

Can DiveRite respond and tell me if I need to get this computer serviced/repaired?

Much as I love my Nitek Duo, it does exhibit some rather strange behavior on occasion. I've seen this blinking when it somehow resets the gas mix to something other than 21% O-2. Strange thing is I never dive anything but air and it occasionally resets to much higher O-2 mixes. According to the computer I've ox-toxed a number of times in the past. Other than these multiple death situations, I love the computer (especially since my aging eyes can read the numbers which I have trouble with on my backup computer).
