Have you had the YS01 since long time? I have this strobe and the green light that is supposed to show before the strobe shows the red ready light has never showed up
I think this has to do with the fact that the strobe charges really fast and goes immediately to red
Even without green light I get perfectly exposed shots in TTL so I would not worry

Does anyone know why I can't get ttl with my ys-01 strobes using the RX 100 in manual mode? Strobes set to ttl and camera flash set to fill. I never get the green light on my strobes showing me that exposure was done in ttl.

I have the YS01 I have never seen the green light once or never noticed the strobe goes almost immediately to fully charged with the batteries I use and the shots are perfectly exposed
How are your shots? If they are ok I wouldn't bother about the green light

figured it out...i'm an idiot...the way i have the FO cables set up with the ike diffuser wasn't getting "consistent, stable" lighting when triggered....stripped some cable and flipped the diffuser upside down to re-mount the FO cables and it works like a charm now.

Glad you were able to solve the problem Chile, I had a different situation t
he other day, Had taken some surface shots with camera in housing, suited up and when I went to turn camera back on, it wouldn't turn on. Left it behind and after dive discussed problem with buddy. He suggested taking battery out and putting it back in. It worked! Don't know what happened. Anyone have similar problem?
