It took about 5-6 days after submitting the form to get the approval for me and my daughter. The website was a bit odd, so I guess the video may be helpful.

It takes less time to get a visa on arrival at the bank counter than watching this video...

and make sure you go to the bank kiosk - not the people (scum) shouting TUI or whatever flight has arrived. they charge £25 rather than the $25 you pay at the bank kiosk.

And you can pay for the visa with euro too, but in this case change could be interesting, I usually get an interesting combo of USD and the local egyptian pound. The sum is correct usually, it's just funny.
