If it were in my power Dennis...but I have no idea :(
 
if I were working on an original I might have made a layer. I did make an adjustment layer to darken the shadows and then masked the critter and blurred the background. Everything that didn't disappear after that was zapped with the healing tool.

Layer? I do it on the original because I don't know how to use layers yet... I gotta learn more Photoshop.

learn layers dennis, it's safer to do corrections with it.
 
I will Jon. I've never used them yet but I've been lucky and haven't screwed up too many pictures. I always keep the originals archived.
