What are the issues with the Miflex hoses?

Absolutely nothing. They are great.

I read that due to the covid pandemic hoses must be replaced annually.

I'm guessing that was written by a hose seller.

It was not,.
Rather, it is one of the ways that disinformation gets propagated.

Never thought it through that far. Of late everywhere I turn prices have gone up or new rules put in place and almost without exception covid is the excuse given.

It was a poor and failed attempt at humour.
