If it is Bauer Jr2 or Oceanus, they make a special component that is a direct bolt-up to the P0/P21 filter housing.

Called a Bauer Switchover Device...

There is one on the big auction site (it is in India IIRC) that is missing some parts. You might be able to modify it to your compressor...
