I am not paying $650 for the entire Pro Silver plan, it‘s much less

I know. It's 85 Euro. I am on that one too now. I used to be on Gold, what is around 200 euro. But DAN has a professional liability insurance that costs 650$. DAN Professional Liability Insurance

I have the impression you mix a few things up!

DAN Pro Silver (Europe) amounts to 192,- e.g for residents in the Netherlands and Belgium or 182,- in Denmark, all including professional liability as mentioned already twice above.

For 85,- (e.g in Denmark) you get the Sport Diver Silver insurance, which is NOT the professional one and does only include personal liability up to EUR 25k and NOT professional liability.

As you quote the price in $ may be you are talking about insurances for the US where you mentioned you are not planing to teach.
