Heading to the DR next week, staying in Punta Cana. I know the better diving is on the south side of the island... but we're not staying on the south side of the island.

Looking for current dive conditions in the PC area. Any updates would be great.

Thanks.

Punta Cana diving is "so so" lots of surge and mostly dead reef. Although I did see the biggest green moray of my life on a Punta Cana dive. It's no where near as good as Bayahibe but it is certainly better than nothing. Not sure of the current conditions but I have been there in January and the vis was decent.
