Hi everyone,
I live on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and am wondering if anyone else is too? I am currently doing the PADI rescue diver e-learning... just because. I am actually interested in deep diving (decompression), but there isn't' much here below 100'. I have a baby and cannot travel very far right now, but I would be interested in hearing recommendations in central America (Caribbean side) and the Caribbean for eventually achieving that goal (Cuba and roatan or utila, Honduras, seem do-able).
Anyway, 7 dives the past 30 days for me, so I'm in a good mood
hoping to keep up the pace and trying to feed my fever without spending too much money, so I am looking for a buddy. Failing that, I have some desire to dive alone and would like to do so safely. I was well pounded over the head with "never dive alone", but it doesn't seem realistic or necessary given my goals. Perhaps I'm not ready for that yet (I think I am), but someday I will be.
Nice to be here and tia for not slamming me for wanting unusual things.
