Question about Perdix and Transmitter Rubber O-rings

Where have you seen a specification of an -016, please? That is a much thinner oring, and I would be surprised if it sealed reliably. The -112 is what I use.

That came from the Perdix manual and is labeled as battery cap o-ring.

Yup it is for sure size 016

I have replaced alot of them and never had an issue. Just buy 100 of them from https://www.theoringstore.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=367_23_22 for a whopping $1.50 and no that is not a typo $1.50 and you will have enough to last you and all your friends a life time. And at that price you have no reason to not change it every time you put a new battery in.
 
A little confusion over the transmitter versus the computer. Got it. Both are correct.
 
For the transmitter's Viton high pressure o-ring, what durometer is recommended?
Duro 90
2-011 or 2-012, depending upon the shape of your HP port.

So I've seen elsewhere on the board that duro 90 is recommended for the HP port o-ring but can't see that documented anywhere in the shearwater AI manual (I even tried the 'find' function on the pdf). I know that duro 90 is excellent for high pressure applications but was curious if other hardnesses would work, and if it is recommended/important how come it isn't easy to find it documented?

(Not saying I don't agree with the above-- just trying to find the documentation somewhere!)

I believe it would be the -012 since that is what was in the manual, but I have thought I read somewhere that some HP ports use the -011 and it is available for regulators with that configuration requirement (though I am not 100% sure. If anyone can confirm that would be great!)

All shearwater computers, Perdix, Perdix AI, Petrel, Petrel 2, Predator use a AS568-112 70 duro Buna o-ring which also happens to be a standard DIN o-ring (except Apeks & Scubapro they use a 111)

Standard 7/16" HP port uses size AS568-012 unless otherwise specified. The Shearwater transmitter uses size 012 as do all big name regulators.

Size 011 is for LP ports on most big name regs

But what is your exact application (brand name) and im sure someone on here can confirm that is standard or uses something a little different??
