Saturday: aborted a dive (cant compete with riptides and surfers), went and saw Shark Tale. Today- church then went to the pet expo with Hermit Crab and the dog. Had fun.

Why are flamingos pink? (This was a hot topic in our travel group - right Joe?)

They can't decide between red and white.

Age old debate: Chicken or Egg first? Why?

Chicken first, the egg would die without the chicken.

Flamingos are pink because of the pigments in the shrimp and other things they eat. When they eat other things they turn white.

because of the shrimp they eat. Actually its something in the shrimp...
Flamingos that are captive eat mostly dog food, so they have to put coloring in the food to make them pink.

Why don't cats roar?

Their sound-producing organs are too small. This creates a higher-pitched sound. (Sorry, too late to remember the real name)

Fly or drive?
