Question: Small Trim Weights On Harness Waistband

I did exaxtly as elgoog in my class, with the same instructor(s) I believe. The right side is similar to the picture above, behind canister. For left side, I has XS weight pockets, so I can take out the weight easily. Now also remove the left side pocket as well, but use 2lb bullets behind canister from time to time.

Ouvea - I will definitely will check with Beto. I have asked him about 100 equipment questions already. Was trying to hold off for a day or two. :) And I'd LOVE to go diving with you! I'm up for a dive any weekend.
 
For trim I prefer a tail weight over anything attached to the harness, that puts it out of the way and also lower on the body giving it a longer arm from center of gravity which will require less weight to trim. The long version of the tail weight pouch offered by Deep Sea Supply is my favorite, hangs down a bit and sits a little below the backplate. Heavier fins is another option.
