Did St John's and deep south trip with Emperor Divers week before Xmas last year (wife wasn't particularly happy with this:wink: , wore a 7mm Waterproof W1, hood no gloves, water temp was 24 degrees C at <35m, daytimes' are warm and sunny, always t-shirt/shorts, evenings were cooler but nice break. I think we were lucky with the weather, it usually a little windier/cooler topside. Also we had no problems with the military restricting diving, unlike the group before us. Flew from Uk to Hurghada and bus to Marsa (4hrs) to meet the boat Emperor Asmaa. Lots to see on the trip, difficult to beat the quality of the reefs/wildlife. St John's cave/reef deserted and pristine & no rubbish!
