The few times my car(s) broke down was after a mechanic "touched" it. One time a guy put too much oil in my car and almost killed it. He spent 5 hours telling me that my one year old car was broken BEFORE he put 5 quarts of oil in my 4 cylinder car. It smoked violently after I left his shop. Thanks for the oil change idiot! His problem was he refused to believe that he had made such a simple mistake until he took my car to the mechanic that worked next door at another shop and he told him what he did wrong.

The few times my reg has "failed" has ALWAYS been after a reg tech "touched" it. Annual servicing frequently equals free flow. Annoying. Doesn't seem to mater where I take it.

Doctors are the same.

If it's not broke, don't "fix" it.
