Looking at a trip in June diving with SCC Scuba Cozumel and have a question about the operation.
( I couldn't find a contact e-mail for them)

My wife has had a hip replacement and can board the ladder as needed, But she
would like to remove her BCD in the water and hand it up before boarding. Will that be an issue,
and is Scuba Cozumel very accommodating?

Thanks!

That's exactly what I do, each and every time I get back in the boat. In fact, they are waiting for us. Shouldn't be an issue at all....

I don't use SCC but still feel it shouldn't be an issue.

Not a problem. Let your DM and boat crew know. Since standing and walking with heavy gear can be a challenge at times, depending on the boat and specific needs (back roll or giant stride) they help with entry also.

Will not be a problem at all. Just let your DM and crew know the first day. You will probably be on the same boat with them most of your stay, and they do remember. If you get moved to a diff boat, just let that crew know. They always do this if needed, I have seen it several times.

Apparently the only way to clear this buffer is to post it to the forum.

Sorry for the non sequitur. As you were.
