Absolutely no DIR

Whats wrong with DIR or in my case semi DIR (I use a transmitter with backup brass and glass).

I like being in the water looking for a women who enjoys the same. Will not get mad when I say going diving in fact will join me, if the dive is beyond there skill level will say can't this time but as my skills improve will join next time.

I think it's a good idea as this hobby can kinda take over and non divers don't understand.

Deserved or not, GUE has a reputation for arrogance, especially about ten years ago or so.

True i took a GUE course around then, learned a lot and ignored the arrogance. Agency wise I don't like any of them it about the instructor not the agency.

Considering it took nearly a month to get a response to the OP, maybe this isn't the best venue for scuba dating.......

Great responses so far though!

"Are you into DSMB?" LOLOL......

There used to be a singles section, not sure why it was archived/deleted. IIRC, it even contained a thread for people 'looking.' I can think of at least 2 couples who met here—possibly still together.

I was JBs divemaster:rofl3:

and then he stalked me for years

Don't most dating apps have a bio section to tag common interests and activities? The OP could start there.

Define normal. Does that exist? Welcome to the twenty first century. Dating apps are here to stay. It can't be much worse than any of the old traditional methods of meeting people.

I can't comment about dating "apps" but my wife and I met through a dating website; eharmony. She wasn't a diver when we met, but it didn't take long to infect her with the diving bug.
