I would suggest boycotting them and working to make the illegal everywhere.

Whilst in an ideal world I would agree with your position, I increasingly wonder whether we're not better off making them an attraction, a circus if you will, to try to make their tourism value higher or competitive with their value on the shark fin market. Sadly I think this is the only way to preserve them.

I dived with sharks a little bit now and never in a chummed environment and don't think that'd be my cup of tea, but anything - ANYTHING - to give these guys a fighting chance against our super-species must be worth considering.
