Well, I cant tell if this thread has wandered off course or not, but I may be a SoCal Diver... Living in AZ, I get to the ocean as often as I can, and try to make it to SoCal at least once a month.

I also have met the super-amazing-fantabulous DrBill, at an (aborted?) SB Casino Point event in Nov., if that counts for anything

I don't need a number, but wanted to let you know I'll be in the SoCal water no matter what...

ha ha ha :lol3:

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Brad

I'm another SoCal diver....and an actual native to boot.

We could start a club of transplanted New Yawkas. Yo, hey! I'm DIVIN' heah, pal! :)

Well been lurking for awail now but and just found this thread add 2 more to that long list. My self a newer diver LA Native, and My Girlfriend 10+ years diving with a good chunk of her summer on that lovely Island Catalina.

Yet another SoCal diver and a San Diego native.
I'd love to meet & dive with some people from the board (so far I have met Dr. Bill, Wile-E-Diver, and Algal Bloom).
Let me know if you want to get wet!

Is the water still wet. Looking for a beach dive on Thursday or Friday. Possible night dive. I still have a taste for bugs and just can't be in right place at the right time. I had three dives off the Sundiver on Sunday. I was all geared up for bringing back a couple for dinner but I was aced out. Good news is my friend that was with me saw her first Horn Shark. For some reason, I've had very good luck finding sharks. Somebody drop me line if they want to eat some sand.

There was a post way back in this thread asking if anyone remembered Woody Dimel. I just saw it. I remember him, he was my grandpa. My hallway wall is my "diving shrine" to my grandpa.
