I'm meeting up with my good friend (and dive guide) in Labuan Bajo in January 2014.
We are looking to dive South Komodo (Cannibal Rock, Torpedo Alley, etc) to shoot macro for a few days. We are on a budget and do not want to join a large LOB. My friend used to work as a guide in Komodo so we do not need a guide but do want to go with a boat that is familiar with the currents so they know where to pick us up.
Are there any recommendations on dive shops, charters, or boats that could take us? Does anyone know of any small boats we can charter that would be sufficient for a 3 day trip? We could rent tanks from a local dive shop in LBJ if the boat doesn't have an air compressor.
