Greetings!
I'm planning for my vacation down to NC in mid-May. (I live in Richmond, VA.)
I'm not chartering...I'm taking my boat down there. It's seaworthy, 19' and I frequently take it up to 20 miles offshore in Virginia.
I'm looking for information on good sites for spearfishing. I prefer to be within 10 miles or so of shore, just because of weather, and I prefer shallower dives. I can launch out of Hatteras or Oregon Inlet, whichever is best. It seems to me that Hatteras would be better...closer to the Gulf Stream, and closer to where I'm staying (in Avon).
I'm looking for GPS coords, general info on water temp, depth, viz, and species to target.
