I was given three sets of swims labeled Speedo Dive. They are in great shape, but seem very short compared to scuba fins I'm used to using. I mean, my fins are definitely old, and longer than most modern fins, but these are really short. Is that just a trend in scuba, or is this some sort of Speedo design that allows for shorter fins while keeping propulsion? Picture below

Thanks. That's what I thought. But the guy who gave them to me used them for scuba for his kids, so thought maybe this was some sort of equipment trend I didn't know about
